Constructing a Modern Identity
The client
Fleming is a third-generation main contractor delivering construction projects across Scotland for public and private sector clients.
The brief
As the business evolved under a new generation of family leadership, Fleming felt its brand no longer reflected its modern approach.
With Fleming Build as the overarching company and Fleming Timber Structures operating as a division, there was also a need for greater clarity and consistency across the brand. Fleming approached GRA to create a refreshed identity that would modernise the business while respecting its heritage.
Our approach
Our approach focused on modernising their identity while creating clarity across Fleming Build and Fleming Timber Structures.
We began with a full rebrand, including a refreshed logo and visual identity, before redesigning and rebuilding Fleming’s website to bring the new brand to life. The website was structured to clearly communicate Fleming’s services, sector experience and company structure, positioning them as the highly knowledgeable and experienced main contractor they are today.
Alongside this, we developed supporting brand assets to ensure consistency across all touchpoints. From vehicles and sites to digital and marketing materials, the new brand and website work together to present Fleming as a unified, modern construction business.

The results
Working with GRA has been an extremely positive experience from start to finish. They understood the need to modernise our brand and website without losing what Fleming is known for, and the level of detail throughout the process was excellent.
The team are very reactive, easy to work with and quick to respond, and we would have no hesitation in recommending GRA to anyone looking for help with their marketing.”
